Where’s your office located?
Virtual services will continue to be offered for 1-to-1 sessions at this time.
I’m not sure if you’re able to help me, how can I contact you to explain my situation?
Well, you won’t know if I can help you until you ask me. Send me an message via my contact form and if I can’t help you, I’ll try to find someone who can. You can also call me, text me, or message me via WhatsApp at 786-377-4740.
Why don’t you accept my insurance?
Insurances in the state of Florida tend to be closed for stand-alone dietitians. I check with each and every single health insurance regularly to try to get in-network with them. Unfortunately, some of these networks have been closed to new dietitians for years. Until then, it’s only the insurances I already have listed. Credit/debit cards and FSA/HSA cards are also accepted.
What age ranges do you work with?
I work with all ages. The majority of my patients are women between 25 and 55
What kind of medical conditions are you comfortable with?
If I am not comfortable navigating your health concerns, I will refer you to a different provider. I support a variety of medical conditions. I am most passionate about women’s health and maternal/child health.
What is your counseling style?
I am compassionate, patient, and non-judgemental. I’ve also been told that I’m funny. I like to help patients figure out what the easiest, impactful next step they can take towards their health. I take into consideration my patients’ health, lifestyle, preferences, and culture.
I’m worried about sharing my health information. What do you do with it?
I use your health information to help you get closer to your health goals. No matter who you are, I cannot share any information with anyone without your express permission. Just like doctors, dietitians are also bound to HIPAA laws. Everything you tell me is private and confidential unless you tell me otherwise. The only exception to this is if I feel your life is in immediate danger and I need to call the appropriate authorities to intervene.
